Energy-Wise Neighbors

Dear Neighbor,

Well, as they say, the science is in. There is no more disputing global warming, It's now a matter of what we are willing to do to curb it's effects. As a community advocate and environmental activist, I saw a need to act at the household/neighborhood  level while the cities and counties are working on reducing carbon emissions on a larger scale.. Once I got the idea for Energy-Wise Neighbors, it was easy to see how well it can work . Our aim is to become a county-wide force for change, house by house. Working alongside the Climate Protection Campaign, and with assistance from members of the Sierra Club, I have been able to gather a group of dedicated volunteers and together we are implementing this exciting action plan for uniting neighborhoods while reducing energy use.

We are looking forward to the year ahead and the ultimate outcome of our collectively reduced carbon footprints here is Sonoma County.
